Question by groovymobileauto: Why does the carb go straight into the crank case on a 2 cycle motor or weed eater motor?
I cant find any tubes that go from the carb over to the combustion side of it.
Its a 2 cycle motor. Takes two cycle motor oil,
The best I can figure is there is a check valve in the head of the motor and the oil in the gas stays in the case and is pumped thru the check valve on the stroke.
Also, I see no place to fill it with conventional oil.
Any help?
Ive never really messed with two stroke motors…
this seems weird.

it snot a check valve but the motors valve

the gas fuel mixture is fed through reed valves there is no oil sump the oil is mixed with the gas beforehand
