Meguiars is one of the best diy waxes out there, for the best results us a buffer, and will cause the wax to heat up and then seal it self.

i use either maguires or mothers, both are really good.

I wouldn’t say turtle wax is crap. Actual Turtle Wax brand products are pretty crappy, but their ICE line is decent. Granted, they don’t last for more than one rain, they do look excellent on my black Trans Am after a once-over.

The thing about ICE is that it’s VERY easy to work with so even though it’s durability leaves something to be desired, the good results and lack of effort needed make it worth it for me.

For something with a little more “kick” and longevity, meg’s is great. They have a three step detailing system which consists of three bottles preceeded by a good wash which can give your car a great shine in about an afternoon. A little more difficult to work with, but the results last and you’ll certainly be happy with them.

However, the king of all car care products is Zaino, hands down. Zaino products cannot be bought over the counter and they’re very expensive.

The pros use zaino and I myself have tried it. It simply can’t be beat If you’re serious about car care, this is where you want to look.
