where can i find the keyless entry code for a 2006 Mercury Montego?

Question by Sissey H: where can i find the keyless entry code for a 2006 Mercury Montego?
I’m looking for the key-less entry code for a 206 Mercury Montego. Every place on the net i’ve looked says it’s on the Computer Module. But I don’t know where that is either. Please help.

YOu have to take it to the shop and they can find it in the computer for you. I had to do it with my 2002 Ford Sport trac. Should only cost you about 25 bucks. I was lucky enough that my local dealer just did it for free.

Open the trunk and look on the inside of the trunk lid and see if it’s there. Probably on the right side.

there are three places it is located two of which are likely going given the year of the car but look anyway.

first look along the seam of the trunk lid near the hinges on a sticker
Second look in the glove compartment on the side panels

third look under the drivers side dash the control module is made on the top portion of the fuse box there should be a sticker with the number there.

Also they sometimes put them along metal brace at top of trunk floor immediately behind rear seat.

the factory set 5–digit entry code is located on the owner’s wallet card in the glove box, is marked on the computer module, and is available from your authorized dealer. You can also create your own 5–digit personal entry code.
