Yuck. Bentley is horrible for a child. Absolutely horrid for a child.

Giving it a trashy spelling doesn’t make it feminine. Just makes you look illiterate.

I LOVE the name Bentley, but for a boy. I don’t like it as a girl’s name, because I think that it is far too masculine. I love the nickname Ben as well. Save it for a boy, you’ll be disappointed if you don’t wait.

Maybe Bentleigh? It’s the same name, just written differently

Add: And if she doesn’t like it later in life, she can always short it to Leigh.

I think it would be very cute for a little girl. I like it, but wouldn’t use it personally. Maybe give her Bentley as a middle name and call her that.

You could spell it, Byntli. That’s how I would. If you want it as a first name I would give her a feminine middle name. Maybe like:
Byntli Samantha
Byntli Mackenzie(not that feminine, but I like it)
Byntli Alexa

I would not do Bentlei Sky because it does not look good spelled that way or with the middle name of Sky.

Well, I love the name. Though, I find it a bit too masculine for a girl. If it was a girl I think i’d prefer the name Bentlei, the i at the end just gives it the special something needed for a girls name.

Well, as what I would think of it, first things that pops into my mind is the cars bentley, so I think she’s/or he is probably a very formal, educated and very beautiful person. The name just has that certain “classy” feel to it ^-^

Bentley (at best) is a surname sometimes used for boys.
The most common nn is Bent which quickly morphs into “get bent”
Using a spelling that could easily be pronounced as bent-lay is simply perverse and perverted.

I find using a name for your daughter that references sodomy to be vicious, horrendous, and cruel.

Save Bentley for a boy

You could have a boy one day, if this child is a girl
IF you love Bentley for a boy, then save the name
The next child could be a boy

Bentley for a girl, is not very good
Ainsley and Bentley is cute
You could try to fine a girl name that go with Bentley, the next child you could use Bentley
I would save the name for a boy, if my first was a girl

Bentlei looks awful
Bentlee or Bentlie would be better to make the boys name more girlie

I would think that the parents either wanted a car or a boy.

You can change the spelling of Bentley all you want but it won’t suddenly become unisex/feminine if the spelling is Bentlei or Bentlee or some other trashy spelling.
