What would cause a 1999 mercury cougar to hesitate when driving.?
I have a 1999 mercury cougar that will hesitate and the guages go haywire while driving on rough surfaces along withwhen you change speeds on the blower motor the car begins to buck and kick for a little bit. Has anybody had this problem or know a fix. Thank you

gauges prob due to a loose wire…may need a tune up plugs & wires, check your catalytic converter, fuel pump, fuel pressure regulator and oxygen sensor as well as your fuel filter…try a higher octane fuel every few tanks and even possibly the tps, ecm or egr…….
