What kind of paint does Audi use on their cars? Like have they switched over to ceramic yet?
Read somewhere that Mercedes started using “ceramic paint” on their cars 2003+ and BMW had something similar, but not sure what year it started. Was wondering if Audi uses ceramic paint too.

They use water based paint.
Waterborne paint these days. It is a water based paint versus a solvent based paint. Better for the enviroment because Waterborne paints reduce VOC emissions and worker exposure to hazardous air pollutants.
