well in order to have a wicked system is to first off u need to get a aftermarket cd player,subwoofers,and a amp the best website u can get all this stuff is crutchfield.com u can put in the year of your car and they give u a bunce of stuff that will go in your car.

I have a 1995 regular cab 2WD work truck. Bought a nice $ 97.00 Sony CD deck at WallyWorld and hooked it up with the wiring adapter bought there also. Wired it to the stock door speakers and it rocks. Has an MP3 jack on the front so I can plug-in my player. In that small of a space, and not needing deafening decibels, I personally saw no need to boost power or upgrade the speakers. Total investment about $ 125.00 and two hours time max. The dash face plate just pulls off after removing the ash tray etc.. Hope that helped.
