What do I have to do to purchase a Renault Megane II in the United States?
Question by ForeignCarShopper: What do I have to do to purchase a Renault Megane II in the United States?
I lived in Mexico for a few years and I bought a 2008 Renault Megane II down there. I fell in love with the car but I had to leave it behind now that I relocated in the USA again (California). I want to purchase one again. But I can’t seem to find information online on how to actually buy and “import” one.

I don’t believe that Renault ever bothered to have this thing approved for US sale; you’d have to install all the safety and emissions gear on your own, which would likely cost you more than the car itself.
If you’re fond of that platform (Renault/Nissan C), try Nissan’s Rogue.
