We have been looking for a shade that will stay stuck to the window. Despite the super suction cups, this one did not stay stuck to our car windows, even after cleaning both the window and the suction cup. It seemed like it should work well, but we have yet to make it work.

If you get lucky, it sticks to your window, at least by one corner. Wide enough to cover a big window but not stretchable like it was my impression from the product description.

Manufacturers have not found the miracle product that your kid will not play with while seating. My daughter keeps on touching the suction cups, drives her crazy when they go off. If you have a quiet kid, no problem….

In summary, no better, no worse than what the competition does, just bigger.

I am so surprised by the other reviews, this is the best sunshade I have tried yet!! I have a Toyota Rav 4 and purchased two shades for the backseat windows. They installed quickly, I didn’t have any trouble with the suction cups. They have stayed put since the day I installed them. The coverage area is great and it doesn’t leave any large gaps for the sun to come through. It not only covers the main window, but the smaller additional part of the window that many shades lack (in my car at least). I also love that it doesn’t create a blind spot for me, I can easily see through them while driving. I would never go back to a pull down type shade again. I suppose it doesn’t work for everyone. But, it works great for us. I am glad I didn’t let the mediocre reviews deter me from trying it. Also, I live in Chicago where we have extreme hot and cold and so far haven’t encountered a problem with it coming undone. Car rides have been much better since we put these shades in the car!

I really like the flexibility of this product and can use it to get much better coverage on the back door windows of my Nissan Titan, than with the multiple other shades I tried.

the corner suction cups seem to pop off alot, but it is usually the bottoms. Given the high temps and temp swings that we have, I don’t think it’s necessarily a product defect.

I don’t normally write reviews but I had to comment after seeing the low ratings. We’ve spent tons of money (most were non-returnable or broke) trying countless number of shades, including the roller shades, the stick ons and other suction cup type shades for the back side windows of my Toyota 4Runner, and this one is the best. Not only does the shade cover the entire back side window, including the triangle section, but both window shades have not budged since they were put on three weeks ago and we’ve had temperature swings from a low of 76 to a high of 114! The material and cups are pretty sturdy and ny daughter loves being able to still look out the window. Granted my daughter isn’t big enough to reach the suction cups and I haven’t tried pulling them off after putting them on (I’m one of those “don’t mess with things once they look fine” people) so I can’t comment on that end for the reviewer who said their daughter pulls them off easily. I would really recommend trying this shade! If you don’t want the hassle of buying and returning from somewhere on the Internet, try a local specialty baby store with a decent return policy.
