A mk3 Cavalier 2.0 8 valve (non SRi) will beat this. 0 – 140mph plus in 4th gear. Although its probably more like 125mph taking into account the inaccuracy of the speedometre but I doubt the Aston’s is any more accurate. And the Vauxhall does struggle a fair bit more to pull away in 4th. But I think this is interesting that an old rep mobile can do the same when Clarkson has made a fuss over the Aston doing this.
