How much does it mean in L/100km?
1.1 is too small but let it sink in DIESEL, DIESEL, DIESEL, this is what we need, better on gas, more power, lasts longer, sounds better
if i did buy the diesel Rio i’d prefer the 1.6 3′ version – surely a 1.1 will simply be too weak ?
Nearly 800s miles and not one sign of an insect splattered on the front of the car. Did they really wash, polish & wax it before filming at every location?…someone needs a better job!
I hope they offer the diesel motor here in America!…..800 miles to a tank..WOW!
@Bmants Because we like everything husky and big and wasteful and are expected to be able to afford it. And we fail to give tax incentives to those who purchase cars that are designed with a purpose. 10k off of a F-250 Superduty, MAYBE 1,500 off an economy/hybrid/HF car. Backwards ass country we live in. I’d love to fill up and drive to whereever I wanted or just simply WORK without having to spend 10% of my pay on just fuel.

at least, you can get those packs in the Netherlands, don’t know what possible in the UK (seeing as I heard people talking about a Rio1 of a Rio2, we don’t have that here).

It is. You can get the Navigon PND+Docking station or the Pioneer kit AVIC-F320BT. Radio/cd + buttons on steering wheel are standard, but there’s loads of options. I’ve ordered the Rio with the Comfort and Plus pack (very good value for money) but you could also go all out en get the Super pack (rain sensors, parking sensors, that sort of stuff). This is my first ever KIA and I’m very pleasantly surprised
I’ve seen some Kia Rio (on commecials) that has multimedia system (big sceen displaying satnav, reverse camera etc) but theres none in either of the Rio’s.
Is that an option?
