I own a 2000 Mercury Mountaineer and I’m assuming it’s the same interior lighting wise as a 2000 Ford Explorer. I need to know how to remove the two map lights in the front. I took off the plastic lense cover and tried everything I could think of and couldn’t figure out how to remove the two map lights. Also in the very back I couldn’t figure out how to get the plastic cover off the rear cargo light. I am simply replacing the bulbs with some brighter, better qaulity bulbs.
