StrongArm gas charged lift supports are custom engineered and manufactured beyond industry standards to provide smooth operation and durability. The hardened chromium plated steel shaft is precision ground and polished for superior corrosion resistance and leak free sealing. The self cleaning piston assembly automatically opens during each compression cycle to keep the orifice clear of fluid contaminants and provide smoother operation and reliable performance. Most units also utilize StrongArm’s patented temperature compensation module valve which ensures consistent operation even in extreme weather conditions. It does so by compensating for normal gas pressure changes caused by temperature variations. The metallic upper bushing is manufactured with bearing quality precision to provide exact fit with pistion rod and promote a long operating life.

Excellent product,
Perfect fit for my 2002 2 Dr. Blazer. The lifts look and fit exactly like the originals. Added a dab of grease to each ball for smoothness. When I unlatch the glass now, I raise it about 4 or 5 inches and it lifts the rest of the way by itself. Guess I had forgotten how nice it worked originally.

|Liftgate glass struts,
Ordered the struts and they shipped very quickly. Exact fit and 2 minute install – what a difference not having to hold up the glass while unloading items from the back. Good product and good price.

|Excellent Lift Support Replacement,
This is an excellent replacement support for the rear glass hatch on 95-01 Blazers. As good or better than original and at a much lower price than my Chevy dealer. No longer getting hit in the head by the glass hatch (especially happens in cold weather with old lifts). I highly recommned these. Don’t wait until you are injured by a dropping hatch.
