Install was a breeze on a 1997 Ford escort wagon. It’s the perfect alternative to the complex and malformed competing unit manufactured by Metra. While it’s quite a bit higher priced it’s well worth the finished OEM look! Hats off to Scosche and ANTonline

Fit is OK, but could be better, it doesn’t conform to the dash shape well. As in some other reviews i read, the way the HVAC controls are positioned and the labeling for them, is difficult to see. The unit does install fairly well, but be prepared for a big job. I am pleased with the unit overall.

I was skeptical that this was going to work, but turns out if fit perfectly, and works great! I had to take some pieces from the old part and use in the new part, to keep it in place, and then it went in with no problems whatsoever. Took about an hour from start to finish!

Makes installation of an aftermarket head unit look OE. My unit had a short in one of the lights used for illumination of the HVAC controls. This is the only downside I had and I’m sure it’s a one time problem, but still an inconvenience.
