Redline Track Events to Host Lotus Cup USA at Select 2011 Event Weekends

Redline Track Events is proud to announce a collaboration effort with the brand new Lotus Cup USA series. At select events during the 2011 season, the Lotus Cup USA will run as a featured support series during Redline Track Events sanctioned “Pro Weekends”. Lotus Cup USA activities will include time attack sessions, wheel-to-wheel races and Lotus Evora VIP Client Experience program.

The Lotus Cup USA presence will nicely complement the full slate ofother Redline Track Events sanctioned events: Redline Pro Time Attack, Pro Track Challenge and MotoIQ Pacific Tuner Car Championships. Corporate involvement from Lotus, including a large hospitality tent for Lotus owners and fans of the marque, will contribute to the increase in professionalism found at Redline Track Events weekends in 2011.

Over the past few seasons in the Redline Pro Time Attack Series, Lotus platforms have been successful, with Manly Kao securing the Street Tire RWD Title in 2009 in his Lotus Elise. “I have always been a huge fan of Lotus!,” said Nikolas Malechikos, President of Redline Track Events. “To have Lotus officially involved with our events in 2011 is a fantastic development for our brand.” The first event of the 2011 season will be held at Willow Springs International Raceway in Rosamond, California, the weekend of March 5th& 6th.

The Lotus Cup USA will be guests of Redline Track Events at a total of five events in 2011:

    Willow Springs International Raceway    March 5th& 6th
    Firebird International Raceway        April 9th& 10th
    Auto Club Speedway            May 28th& 29th
    Miller Motorsports Park            August 28th& 29th
    Las Vegas Motor Speedway        November 5th& 6th
