Calling it a “milestone day for Nissan Titan, 350Z and G35 owners”, IPT Performance Transmissions introduced the first line of performance transmission products and high stall torque converters designed specifically for RE5R05A Jatco automatic gearboxes.

As more Nissan Titan, 350Z and Infiniti G35 vehicles are being heavily modified for higher performance and increased horsepower, their automatic transmissions have shown the need for products and components designed to handle the additional stress.

Staying ahead of the competition as always, IPT Performance transmissions has expanded their product line to include complete rebuilt performance transmissions, custom high stall torque converters, modified valve bodies, heavy duty internal components and high performance transmission rebuild kits for Titan, 350Z and Infiniti G35′s with the Jatco RE5R05A transmission.

The Jatco RE5R05A transmission is also found in Nissan Frontier, Pathfinder, Armada, Xterra, and Infiniti G35, Q45, M35, M45, CX35, FX35, FX45, and QX56 models.

The RE5R05A performance transmissions include a custom calibrated valve body to provide more positive shifts, enhanced direct, input, and high/low/reverse clutch packs, a revised lube circuit, higher pump volume and pressure, as well as heat and cryogenically treated internal components.

The complete performance transmissions represent the most robust configuration available, while the high stall torque converters normally yield a significant reduction in 0-60 and quarter mile elapsed times. “This line of products is among our most advanced ever and is compatible with most factory and aftermarket computer and tuning enhancements,” the company said.
