Q&A: What kind of vehicle is somewhat cheap but is also cheap to fix?

Question by queenrainell: What kind of vehicle is somewhat cheap but is also cheap to fix?
I have a Saturn that the transmission and/or torque converter went out, also has power steering problems. In the long run would it be better to sell off this Saturn as parts and get myself a new vehicle? If so, I would like a vehicle that would be somewhat as inexpensive as the Saturn ( I realize, technically all cars are expensive, but Saturn is cheaper than most) but cheaper to fix later on. Thanks for any help anyone is able to give me.
