I am thinking of buying a BMW 530i. I have not been able to decide on what kind of transmission to pick. I have heard that the SMG transmission can also work like an automatic is this true.

u got an auto mode.. and on the steering wheel u got paddles fer gear shiftin!.
If U need this car fer relax drivin go fer SMG but.. if u need it for racin and rash drivin go fer Pure genuine MANUAL gear box… as SMG breaks up on harsh drivin and in circuit lapZ!… it happened wid me 
well… i thiNk…. this Car shud be drived smoothly and in relaXed MooD!
