These 250-watt Pyle Hydra two-way marine speakers will blow you out of the water! The 6.5” high quality white speakers are constructed from a water-resistant plastic case, so they’re perfect out at sea or on land. Supported by the 35 oz. magnet structure, these speakers are equipped with a 1” high temperature Kapton voice coil and 0.75” neodymium dome tweeter. These speakers achieve a frequency response of 65 Hz to 20 kHz. The santoprene surround keeps your speakers secure from the elements and your sound distortion-free. Includes custom grills, mounting gasket, and installation hardware.
Pyle’s Hydra series speakers are waterproof and designed for use in your boat, on the dock, by the pool, or simply mounted outside. They’re designed with rust-proof mesh covers for protection from the elements. The PLMRX67s are a pair of 250-watt, 6.5-inch, two-way speakers, suitable for marine use.
Woofer Construction
The speakers are constructed with high-quality white polypropylene cones and Santoprene rubber surrounds, boasting 250 watts peak power. Poly cones and rubber surrounds both have the added benefit of weather resistance, ideal for the marine environment.
A molded ABS plastic basket helps keep things distortion-free, and a one-inch, high-temperature Kapton voice coil delivers accurate sound reproduction.
Protective Grille
A two-way attachable grille adds another layer of protection against the elements (not to mention the inevitable bumps and scratches from in-boat enjoyment).
.75-Inch Tweeter
A .75-inch Neodymium dome tweeter takes up the high-end, helping to ensure full-range sound with minimal distortion.

Great Speakers,
While I have not spent enough time with these for a full review, the speakers seem to be just what I needed. The specs are extremely favorable though I was concerned about them being “water resistant” instead of being “water proof”. They are the size I expected. And for those that are wondering – yes they are a pair and not a single speaker. Looking at the manufacturer’s website and other online research it was not evident if it was a single or not. I will update the review after they get some use later this year.

|stock speaker sounds better,
These speakers only sound like you have tweeters installed. There is no balance for being 2way 6.5″ speakers. If you install these speakers you will need a seperate sub. I ended up reinstalling the stock speakers.

|Can you rate something ZERO stars?,
Dont waste your time or money on pile of crapp.Spend more money and get JBL. Speakers look and sound cheap. Grilles are bulky with “pyle” printed on and not even centered. Sound quality is crackle & distorted. Thank you amazon for having great return department bacause these speakers are garbage.
