Yes, i know. I know the PDK and I know the 6-speed-manual-shift but I wanted to say that the 911 driver change the gears very quickly.
Why is the boxsters spoiler different from the caymans ik cayman isnt a convertible but still I think they should have the same
@MultiMarco911 no you are wrong mate,. PDK and manual sift is like day and night, it is perfect shifting everytime. The boxster is also tuned and god knows what else is done to it, but PDK is way faster, beyond words compared to a normal manual.

If anyone cares to look at the specs of the Boxster S and the base 911 cabriolet, they will see there is very little between them. 0-100 times are pretty much identical, for instance.
Also, those who advocate comparing the Boxster with the 911 Coupe are missing the point. The Boxster is a convertible so the only valid comparison is with the 911 cab.
What counts in favour of the Boxster is that it was designed from scratch as a cabriolet, and it has excellent mid-engined balance.
I think this Boxster is tuned. There is no big difference between the PDk and the manual shift.

@oversteerdawg Actually, the 3rd race is a replay as well. Score is 1 – 1. You really have to pound on the synchros and shift fast to keep up with a PDK car. The 997S took race 2 by shifting faster. In the first race, he was shifting pretty leisurely.
@DRP996 The last race is a replay of the 2nd race, just stabilised. The Boxster S took 2 out of 3. A 987S MkII PDK is surprisingly fast. Don’t know why you’re so upset.
how people calling the boxster ugly, what planet are you on? You dicks will never own any sort of boxster, it is the sexiest sports car ever made. Ive had one since 03 and now got a 997 S but i still adore the boxster, untill you muppets even drive a porsche.. be silent.
wtf.. are people bind? the 911 is way faster than the Boxster S PDK, It clearly out powers it in every race they have bar the first one when they stopped irt early. This is just a softtop 911 too, the coupe will rip any boxster apart.

Not stock or a bad 911 driver! A Boxter S PDK needs like 5,0 secconds to get to 100 km/h . A Carrera S something like 4,8s with manual gearbox.
So it could be that the Boxter can beat him… but a newCarrera S with PDK would beat the Boxter….easy
