@Nubaroo bloody fantastic! i always wanted to put a valkyrie 1.8 flat six in a suzuki cappucino and then twin turbo the thing. might not be very driveable but i reckon itd be awessome
@rickmcarthur77 Hi Bud – no offense taken LOL!!! My daewoo has been called several things including a TUMBLE DRIER LOL!!! I am running Forged Chrome molly conrods and forged Wossner turbo pistons. On race days with the proper fuel/mix – I boost the car 2.7BAR!!! I laugh when I hear the other turbo car say their high boost is 1.5 bar…then they ask me and I say – low boost = 1.8bar and high boost = 2.7 bar LOOOL and watch their faces dumbstruck LOL!!!

again no offence but this is pretty funny to see a daewoo do this stuff but i must reiiterate somewhat pointless, apart from the comedic value of course which i assume is the point? which i guess makes it not pointless at all but a thing of splendous mirth and merriment. i say good luck to you. but i am laughing my guts out too.
@rickmcarthur77 ive seen this daewoo in action and he runs like hell,not many people willing to take it on,and we do not race fake cars….lol….maybe u must bring yr car and we can c how well u will do running next to it…..?? this car fux off
@rickmcarthur77 The Daewoo comes from the factory with a Opel Ecotec motor. I just tweaked the motor and added a T61 Turbo with an Opel F23 gearbox. The total cost of the mods on the car is around $7000. I still have to come across a Cobra that can run with my daewoo LOL!!! Regards Nubaroo. @rickmcarthur77 Oh yes – I have spent around $7000 to get the car as it is now. Thing is I could have pimped a Golf/Opel/Honda etc etc but the Nubira is unique – still a family car and everyday driver. I like to see the expressions on the people faces when the Daewoo dishes out hidings – -total disbelief LOL!!! Regards – Nubaroo
@rickmcarthur77 Hi Bud. I have given several Cobra`s hidings on the 400m – this is unfortunately the only one I have on video. If you look at my vids you will see me running away from an Audi R8 (Not fake) and a Noble( also not fake). The car makes 380KW/611NM on the front wheels and runs a respectable 12.2 sec 400m. As for the engine the daewoo Nubira in South Africa comes from the factory with the Opel Ecotec motor – it now has 360 000KM on it – again see my “clock run” vid. Regards – Nubaroo

no offence intended, it is pretty impressive to see a daewoo do that. although somewhat pointless. it must have cost a pretty penny to do the engine swap. these things are renowned for shitting themselves at 100,000 kms.

@munteanuioan pretty sure its a wrx motor, and the “cobra” (its a replica) is most probably a small block standard v8. if this was a 427 cobra this would not be race but a massacre.
