This was a 1987 ad for this car, which was later named Chrysler’s TC by Maserati when it finally was introduced as a 1989 model. The "TC" stood for Turbo Convertible. Engine choices: Chrysler’s Turbo II Four or a Maserati 16-valve DOHC Four, both 2.2 Litres and both turbocharged.

K-Car mechanicals with fine Italian body and interior. They were to be introduced several years earlier, but problems cropped up as usual. Finally went to showrooms not long before the Chrysler LeBaron coupe that it’s styling inspired. Consumers were confused and many thought they were the same car.
