New Porsche Cayenne launched in India
New Porsche Cayenne launched in India
Germany based leading car maker Porsche launch its much awaited luxury sensation Cayenne model in India on Friday.Porsche Cayenne The new model is a second-generation car of the Cayenne series which has been equipped with all new generation luxury and comfort features. The new Porsche Cayenne falls in an ex-showroom price range of Rs 65.82-lakh to Rs 1.27 crore in the Indian market.
The new Porsche Cayenne has been rolled-out in five variants including Cayenne, Cayenne S, Caynne Turbo, Cayenne Diesel and Cayenne S Hybrid. The company started receiving bookings for this car a few months back and has received a considerable number of bookings for all of these variants. The ex-showroom price of these five variants is as follows – Cayenne at Rs 65,82,000, Cayenne S at Rs 78,62,000, Caynne Turbo at Rs 1,27,10,000, Cayenne Diesel at Rs 59,22,000 and Cayenne S Hybrid at Rs 75,46,000.
According to Mr Ashish Chordia, Porsche India’s Director, the company has already received bookings of at least 70 units. This model represents the perfect balance between elegant design and powerful driving dynamics. He added that efficiency has significantly improved, making this model an outstanding trend-setter in its segment.
The company currently has 2 sales-outlets in the Indian market and plans to increase the number of its showrooms to 7 by the end of this year in cities including Chandigarh, Channai, Kochi, Hyderabad and Ahmedabad.
Mr Deesch Papke, Managing Director (Middle East), Porsche India said on the occasion that yet in today’s world, it is clearly not enough to pour on more power, there must be a clear, simultaneous improvement in fuel consumption. He added that the company has optimized this objective to the maximum by reducing CO2 emission of up to 26 per cent and reduction in fuel consumption of up to 23 per cent less.
