@algarragonz Ford Probe is a copletly different car. In Europe this one was sold by Ford just as Ford Cougar.
The V6 engine was too weak like for american standarts and in Europe it was too expensive (compared to other sports cars) Nowdays is a very attractive offer for someone who wants a stylish coupe for a small price. V6 Duratec engine maybe is not a speed king, but its fast enaugh and sounds great.

@TheWarmplate – For some people, 170 just isn’t enough. That’s why these Cougars are so often found with Duratec 3.0s, some naturally aspired and some turbo/supercharged. With a Duratec 3.0 turbocharged can push 390. It just takes a lot of work to make it so. I almost also wonder if an Eaton M90-fed 3.0 Vulcan is an option.

I have no problem with them having made the cougar smaller and only offer a 4 and 6 cylinder but I don’t think they should have made it fwd. My 97 is so much fun just because it is rwd.
