I was/am in the market for either a sheepskin or lambswool mitt for car washing because those materials are pretty safe for my car’s paint. The mother’s mitt was soft and it did indeed hold an ideal amount of soapy water. However, I had to give it two stars because the product description clearly stated that this would be lint-free. MY GOODNESS, the amount of lint this thing produces seems excessive. The lint was everywhere. Keep in mind that typically sheep/lamb mitts don’t have a long lifespan, but I expected a little more than 2 washes. The effort of having to rinse the lint from the car and to get the lint off of the grit guards, buckets, etc was simply not worth it to me. I have a second Mothers Mitt so I will see if this was a fluke with next’s week wash. I’ll update the review accordingly.

UPDATE 7/12:

Tried to second mitt. Still a ton of lint in the water even with the Grit Guard. Not nearly as much on the car as the first mitt. I would not recommend this product.
