Perfect for an older car!,
So my car was flippin dirty, so dirty that I just HAD to clean it. We have all been there, were tired of looking at our dirty car and decide ok, im going to make this thing look perfect.
Let say this first, I am only 17, I have never polished or waxed my car before. Ever. I am a complete noob at completely washing my car, so I wasn’t sure what I was getting myself into. After a lot of research, I found Meguire’s Paint Restoration Kit. It made shopping easy, as it bundled everything I needed to wash, polish, and wax my car. It was only $25, so i decided to give it a shot.
Once I got home I started to follow the instructions exactly as it said. I had to unfortunatly wash the car with the included soap and water out in the sun. I had done this a lot before so it was really easy. Before starting step 2, the clay bar I moved my car into the garage. The clay bar really gave the car a nice feel, and got a lot of the hidden dirt out of my car. I really wish they had included more clay though.
The polish was great, but I never noticed its effects untill I waxed the car. Once I removed the hazing my car was glowing! I finished off the cleaning with some rain-x on my windows.
The reason I am posting this is because I can’t recommend enough this kit. It came with everything I needed, except for the Rain-X. The instructions were very clear and helped me through the process of getting my car to a line new shine.
If your a Car owner like me, who were a little bit of a noob when it comes to really washing your car, get this kit!

|Mequiar’s G3300 Kit,
I bought this for my 97 Explorer. It hadn’t been waxed in years. I had my son do the cleaning and waxing since he will be driving it when he gets his permit. It looked pretty good. It was his first time waxing and buffing a car. He missed a few places and left some polish but it was a lot better than before. Most of the fine scratches came out and the shine was vg.
