Not worth the $, and highly overstated wattage,
I bought this amp to replace my 640 watt Clarion amp. As it’s stated wattage at 4ohms is 1000 watts a channel, I tried it with 2 subs. This was very disappointing, so I tried it bridged to 1 speaker and still didn’t come close to my 640 watt Clarion. P.O.S.!!! Don’t buy expecting even 500 total watts out of this amp!!!Lanzar HTG257 2000 Watt 2-Channel Mosfet Amplifier

|Good for the bump,
I bought this for my husband who is changing the subs in his truck. It is rated for 500 watts per channel and that’s what it delivers. If your subs or speakers are not rated for this much wattage, be careful. He blew the voice coil in one of the older subs because of this. I also got him a 2.0 Farad capacitor to help provide power to this amp.
