Is the Hyundai Veracruz going to be offered with a navigation system in the 2008 model year?

Question by mikegon18: Is the Hyundai Veracruz going to be offered with a navigation system in the 2008 model year?
My mom is interested in buying a Hyundai Veracruz, she loves it besides the fact that a navigation system is not offered… Will it be offered in the 2008 model year? I watched a video online and the guy said it would be offered in the 08 model year, just making sure..

The Veracruz as well as the Azera for the 2008 model year will get a navigation system made by LG. Hyundai will also make as standard in the Veracruz memory seating, rain sensing wipers and proximity key on the limited and power tailgate on the SE.

It is odd that they haven’t offered this product yet considering how profitable it is, so obviously answer #2 is clueless. #3, you are right, a nav system in general is a rip-off. The latest issue of AAA magazine says that having a nav system rarely increases the re-sale value of your car despite the huge investment and that they are hard to update for the latest roads. A GPS system will cost you about 1/4 -1/6 the price of navigation and can be moved from vehicle to vehicle with with live traffic update service available too. The only advantage to a nav system is it looks prettier since its in the dash, but but car audio places can install it in the dash of certain cars for $ 150-$ 250.
