I’m really nervous about purchasing an extended car warranty. I’m concerned that it will be a waste of money in the event they refuse to take care of claim.

HOW MUCH MILEAGE DOES THE CAR HAVE?IF IT COVERS THE CAR FROM BUMPER TO BUMPER FOR MORE THAN 3 OR 4 YEARS,IT IS WORTH IT,BE CAREFUL IF THEY GO BY YEAR OR MILEAGE?MAKE SURE THEY COVER THE DRIVE TRAIN AREA.IF THE CAR HAS MORE
THAN 60,OOO MILES,EXPECT TO HAVE SOME SERVICES DONE TO THE CAR,TIMIMG BELT,HOSES,RADIATOR FLUSH,WATER PUMP CHANGED,TENSION BEARING,BELTS AND SO ON.READ THE WARRANTY CAREFULY,IT WOULD BE WORTH IT TO
BUY.
Extended warranty is no good.If you pay $ 2900 and you have loan for lets say 3 years then those $ 2900 are divided by 3 Years.So If Your repair cost is $ 3000 after one year you have to pay the rest from your pocket.
What are the odds that on a Lexus – the most reliable cars in the world – you are going to have $ 2,900 worth of warrantable repairs during the life of that warranty?
If you don’t know the answer is somewhere around 0.
