Question by Cody: is a 86 gmc c10 carborated or tbi?
i have just bought a 86 gmc c10 long bed ran good yesterday started fine now go to leave and cant get it to stay running and it says it has a choke but im just not sure if it is carborated or if it is tbi please help

believe they went fuel injected in 87. If it has a choke light it’s carbed

The TBI’s came out in the trucks in 87 so yours should have a computer controlled 4bbl carb on it.
