i want to get a 2006 TOYOTA SCION TC but not sure if its considered a sports car since its a coupe any know if the rate will go up alot ??

yes it is consider sports car but not the ones that u have to pay more….its a economy sports car
and for the insurance i have “esurance” and believe me they are really cheap and they do cover the car!!
i own a ’08 tC and insurance is about $ 900/1year
i don’t know about the rating but its pretty safe car…it even includes a knee airbag!!
Coupes are usually considered sports cars by insurance companies. The tC is not really sporty though. Its just a nice looking economy car mostly.
My insurance agent told me that my Scion tC is rated almost as high as my Mustang Cobra. He said it was due to all the teens getting them because they are cheap and then crashing them. Also, since they are so cheap, it does not take a lot of damage to total them.
No. It is a 4cylinder budget coupe.
When I traded in my 2005 Matrix for a 2006 Scion Tc, my insurance went up $ 4 a month. I’m not sure how the insurance companies label each of those cars, but if a Tc is almost the same as a Matrix, then I think you’re okay.
yes it is considered a sports car but my sister who is just 21 just bought a brand new 08 and her insurance is only 85 a month.
