Question by megan: I have a 1966 Mercedes Benz 230 and it needs work. Any good places in Turlock CA that can fix it inexpensive?
The biggest things that need work on her is the paint job and the engine. Also the interior needs to be fixed. I live in Turlock California so places that are located there would be nice. Any answers would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

Look in Modesto and Merced for Independent MBz body and paint shops in the Yellow Pages. Call around and go visit 2 or 3 of these smaller repair shops. You might consider a rebuilt exchange engine for a better price.
There are NO deals for good mechanics who work on any car, and that of course includes a Mercedes.
Hope you didn’t get suckered into buying this as a project car…expect 7000-10,000 for the engine, 5000-7000 for the paint, and 5000-10,000 for the interior.
What your talking about is a restoration, not a repair. Minimum of $ 25,000 to get it back to running condition, or just sell it for parts, and use it towards a car that isn’t a train-wreck.
