How to rebuild a 98 mitsubishi eclipse spyder engine?
I own a mitsubishi eclipse spyder and sometime soon I was thinking about improving the motor but first I would like to rebuild it to get the original power back. Are there any guides, books, manuals or any kind of step by step instructions out there that I can follow to rebuild my engine and how to improve it?
It is not a turbo by the way.

If it’s a V-6, watch the crank bearings. There’s a batch of bearings that are too thin on the shoulder of the center main, allowing the crank to move forward & backward in the block, as you shift the tranny. AND, how about buying a remanufactured short block, and just swapping the top side stuff ??
