I am sure it is like any other car and depends upon weither you are using synthetic or regular oil. The usual for regular oil is 3 months or 3000 miles, which ever comes first. The determiner on how often to change it is not based upon your engine as much as the oil you are using.
For every car manufacturers recomendations are every 3 months or 3 thousand miles! This will help on gas milage and to keep your engine running to its full potential. if you do not change the oli or check it then you can blow your motor,
that is for any car. BTW I drive a Chevy Malibu LS. corollas are great!!!! But I love my chevy!!!!!
If you own an 08 Corolla, then you should have the owners manual, it just so happens to be in there, as well as all routine maitenence
but its around 3000 miles or 3 months
According to my manual (2007) the engine oil should be
changed every 9000 miles or every 12 months.
Irrespective of oil type used.
