Question by azndragon: How much will it cost to convert from manual to automatic transmission for my 1998 toyota van?
does the 1998 toyota van have fuel injection?
what does fuel injection do, by having fuel injection does it make running the vehicle cheaper compared to not having fuel injection and by what % improvement and savings?

i live in australia

3000, don’t know where that guy came up with his answer. you’re gonna need to buy a transmission, flexplate, shifter linkage, cv shafts if front wheel drive. radiator for the cooler, trans cooler lines, remove the clutch pedal and slave cylinder, get a computer for the automatic version, and probably some trans mounts. very similar for rear wheel drive, different driveshaft, different crossmember, and a bunch of spare bolts
