probably more than it would cost to replace the punto that is stuck to your broken exhaust…

Depends if you want to replace the unit yourself but unless you have either know how and tools /equipment leave it to the experts.

I prefer National of the larger quick fit chains but they all tend to want to replace the whole exhaust rather that just the part that is gone and normally if they replace the lot they give a 5 year guarantee otherwise just 1 year on a single part.

If you were considering doing yourself you would fist of all need to find out what part or parts of the exhaust have holed and to do that you could just run the engine get someone to place a rag over the end of the exhaust pipe just for a few seconds at a time while the other person looks for where it is holed.

If it is just the back box and the rest of the exhaust is fine you perhaps go to a motor factor and buy a replacement part .

As I say if you are not familiar with the item and don’t have the tools you must go to a garage : get three quoat for three garages and then chose who you trust the most.

I suspect it may cost around 100 to 120 pounds for a full exhaust.

Good luck
