Question by nasey001: How many years did they manufacture Mercedes Benz 300 SE?
I own a mercedes benz 1993 300 SE. My transmission went out. Took it in to get repaired, that’s been 2 months ago. They contend they can’t find the parts because it was only built for 1 year.

The 300SE (renamed the S320 starting in 1994) was made from 1992 to 1999. The transmission in your car (722.5 series) was made from ’92 to ’95. Starting in ’96, Benz introduced it’s 722.6 electronic transmission.
Hate to say it but it looks like you’re getting the run-around from the repair shop…
