Ferrari, Lambo, and aston martin are not even remotely on par with a corvette…

Part of why the Corvette is so lauded is because it’s 99% of the performance of a Gallardo for less than 1/3 of the cost- this includes durability and maintenance.
It boils down to maintenance and driving style. If you drive a Lambo like a camry and get the oil changed and have all the maintenance done at the dealership, it will last forever. It’ll cost you more than most houses to maintain over the next ten years, but it will last. A big reason the exotics aren’t known for longevity is because most people who own one, drive them like they’re 400+hp cars. Which is to say, they drive like a crazy person. When one of the big selling points of your car is its zero to sixty time, you’ll probably either race it or drive like you’re racing it. This is hard on a car.

I don’t think the cars are very delicate, I think they’re just driven incredibly hard compared to “normal” cars.
