How does an electric scooter hall effect variable throttle work?

Question by Jbristow88: How does an electric scooter hall effect variable throttle work?
I am curious as to how the throttle works on my electric scooter. Because it broke, so I took it apart to try and fix it. I noticed 3 wires going to it, I’m guessing one positive, one ground, and one signal. But I’m just curious how it regulates the voltage signal. Supposedly it has a “Hall Effect” sensor in it. Does anyone know how these throttles work? Thank you.

Maybe you already looked at this link, but maybe not. There is quite a bit of hall effect sensors,but I’m in the dark for using them for throttle control, I thought they were used to measure rpm’s for tachometers and such
