Question by D: How do you remove the large panel behind the seats in a 1998 Mercedes Benz SLK230?
A rear speaker stopped working in my 98 SLK230. I’d like to replace it, but am not sure how to remove the panel.

You have to go in through the trunk. Take out the rear panel inside the trunk and you’ll see it all.
