@bobbyhill601 they weren’t huge, boring, and slow enough for the american market and honda strayed into the hybrid revolution. maybe one day they will come to their senses and bring back the s2000 and the nsx back. i still have mine though!
Honda originally wanted to make it a 2.0 liter V8 that would rev to 9K RPM but changed to 4 cyl last minute to avoid the higher maintenance costs

1st Gen is what Honda wanted to build, 2nd Gen is what unskilled fanboys needed. 2000-2003 is the REAL S2000.

what is the mpg’s of this car?
I had a black 04 S2000 and loved it. On days when you feel great there’s not many cars more fun than this when it’s really wound out. Beautiful engine sound. On longer drives I did wish I had something more sound proof. Even with the top up there’s lots of noise.
i don’t really like the looks of the newer models. i like the 2000 honda civic si more than the newer versions.
did they actually make this car? or was it only a concept?
I had an 02 s2000 with exhaust, headers, and intake system, and it was a blast, I miss it, and its 9K revs!

Do the people at Honda not understand that we WANT MORE CARS LIKE THESE??!!
@KPKaccountt it’s a bit hard for a daily commute because it’s a much more hardcore car than say a Miata. The S2000 is actually very tiring after a long highway drive because of how tight and responsive the steering is which means you have to much more attention to what you’re doing all of the time vs. other cars. Also the fact that it only has 2 seats and only a medium sized trunk make it less practical, plus the interior is very stripped down and only has one cup holder that is extremely small.
