Great sound. Charges a little slow, but gets the job done. Ipod Touch and IPhone don’t fit as well when they wear covers.

Received this item like a week ago, don’t know how I lived with out it, its just fantastic! One of the best part of this item is adjustable cigarette lighter mount keeps your MP3 Player secure while driving, makes my driving more pleasant I don’t havta worry about my MP3 flying around!

It appeared to work just fine yesterday morning, my first use. But when I returned to my car in the evening, the LCD came up blank, and the radio seemed to receive nothing. Since my radio has no aux input, I’m off the air on the first day.
It was a very hot day, over 90 degrees, so I assume the electronics in the device got fried by the heat. Would extreme cold do the same thing? So this device is just not suitable for automobile use, unless you intend to remove it from the car when not in use.
Followup review:
I had not tried the power plug that first day. But today I tried it, and power connection was very spotty. I quickly realized that, like other accessories, this plug doesn’t fit through the hole in the “Bumper” provided by Apple to deal with the antenna issue. So you have to pry off the Bumper to get the power plug to work. In time, this is going to destroy the Bumper. I think this is the fault of the manufacturer of the Dock-Mount-Charger, because they provided a plug that is slightly larger than the original Apple plug.
