For what you get this is way too expensive. I feel jipped as a matter of fact. A fair price for this set should be 19.99.

After I received my Garmin I noticed that some roads in my area did not exist on the maps. So I went to the Garmin WEB site and downloaded, supposedly more current maps. After I did this the device said that there were no maps on my Garmin. I tried to call Garmin but their machine said that it would be 3 hours before a human being would be on the line. I tried using messages on their site for help but got limited advise in a very slow process. Thus, I returned my equipment and after deducting my shipping charges I got my money back. I will buy maps.

I purchased this in conjunction with the purchase of a Garmin Nuvi 255w.
I read where other reviewers used other USBs and chargers with their Garmins. I did not feel comfortable doing this, because I did not now if any damage would result. What I did not want to see was little whiffs of smoke coming from the Garmin. So, for peace of mind, I bought this kit.
I am satisfied with this purchase.

Not sure what anyone could be disappointed in… it has what it says it includes. Everything fits right and works well. i’m glad to have it.

The products are fine for travel but unnecessary if you have a car lighter socket or computer with a USB as the Garmin GPS’s come with a car lighter charger and USB cable for charging with a computer. This was a waste of $34 dollars for me though the products are usable, just unnecessary.
