At toyota corolla standard filter for many years, and fram quality.,
Since I got my first car, Fram has always been the oil filter brand I would reach for. The PH8A was the standard ford oil filter for years, And I went through plenty of them. My mom has owned a 1992 toyota corrola and a 2001 corrola, and this is the standard 4 cilinder engine filter, even for the camary. I went through many of these when she would drive 80+ miles a day to work. Always reliable and never a leak, very consistent. It was a nice improvement whe they added the grip end to these as well, very hand when you have oil on your hand.

|Good filters,
Have used Fram filters for more than 20 years. Used to change oil every 3000 miles. Now I change oil and filter every 5000 miles (car specs).

|No-slip grip is great,
I’ve been using fram for a number of years because of the SureGRIP feature. I have not had to use a filter wrench once in all that time. The convenience of buying through amazon is great for this commodity item. I don’t do much work on my cars besides routine fluids, lights, batteries, etc. For that reason I’m not at the parts shop that often, and being able to have these delivered is really convenient. 4 starts only because they tend to be a little pricey compared to some options.
