Ferrari 458 Italia enthusiasts from around the world will be gathering in Las Vegas for a driving experience combined with a racing school in early January 2011. For the first time in the United States the general public will have the opportunity to get behind the wheel of the Ferrari 458 Italia and take it to the 1.1 mile inside road course at Las Vegas Motor Speedway. The new model is considered by many to represent the next generation of supercars, thus making everything else in the elite supercar world, instantly out-dated! In case one would doubt this statement, there is currently a 2.5 year waiting list to purchase the Ferrari 458 Italia.

The latest addition to the Maranello factory, the Ferrari 458 Italia produces an astounding 570 horsepower and 398 lb-ft of torque. The dual clutch, 7 speed F1 gear box is the perfect match for the challenging 9 turn road course. Romain Thievin, the founder of Exotics Racing, and Richie Hearn, former IRL and Indy 500 racer, will be among the many talented professional race car drivers hosting the program beginning on Wednesday, January 5, 2011 and continuing every week throughout the year.

The Ferrari 458 Italia will be accompanied by its predecessors the Ferrari F430 F1 and Scuderia at the event. In addition to the Ferraris, the Las Vegas based program will include driving experiences in the Lamborghini Murcielago LP640, Lamborghini Gallardo LP560, Audi R8, Aston Martin V8 Vantage, Nissan GTR as well as the Porsche 997 Carrera S. For those individuals brave enough to sit shot-gun, Romain Thievin will be performing a drifting ride-along experience in a 505 horsepower Corvette Z-06 throughout the day as well.
