The all-new redesigned 2011 Ford F-150s have arrived at The Ford Store of San Leandro. The East Bay Ford dealer is keeping up with demand, and trucks are available now.

The 2011 F-150s feature an all-new engine lineup. Two of the engines, a 3.7 L V6 and a 5.0 L V8, are based on the 2011 Ford Mustang engines, and both offer E85 flex-fuel capability. The 6.2 L V8 used in the 2011 Ford Super Duty is available with the F-150 Platinum, Lariat, SVT Raptor, and Harley Davidson editions.

Finally, the 3.5 L EcoBoost V6 was designed to deliver power and torque consistent with larger displacement, naturally aspirated engines while achieving approximately 20% better fuel efficiency and 15% reduced greenhouse emissions than these same engines.

Relative to the power output and fuel efficiency of hybrid and diesel technologies, Ford sees EcoBoost as an affordable and versatile alternative and intends on using it extensively in future vehicle applications. All engines are paired with a new six-speed automatic transmission (6R80).[18] Electric power-assisted steering is available on all engines besides the 6.2. Since 2008, the Ford F-150 has towing and hauling capacity of 11,300 lbs and 3,060 lbs, respectively.
