1 1/4 Pin,
This is a hitch pin for a 1 1/4 inch receiver. It will not fit a 2 inch receiver. Small SUVs (Ford Escape for example) and cars with a hitch typically have 1 1 /4 receiver. Full size SUVs (Ford Explorer) and pick-ups typically have a 2 inch receiver.
If you are looking at the 1 1/4 to 2 inch adapter (which this item is normally recommended with) you will need one of these to attach the adapter to the 1 1/4 receiver on your vehicle. You will then also need a 5/8th pin to attach what ever else you have (luggage rack / bike rack for 2″ receiver) to the adapter.

This pin will NOT fit a standard 2″ receiver. It’s at least an inch short. The diameter is correct.
It should fit a standard 1-1/4″ receiver.

|Not for 2″ reciever,
Like so many other reviews here… quality product, but don’t expect it to be long enough for the most common 2″ receiver. Just trying to save others from the same mistake.
Another reviews mentioned a flimsy/thin cotter pin… mine was definitely not.
