Honestly the Chevy Avalanche puts ALL other trucks to SHAME I love this truck and the Ford F150 but they have nothing on the Avalanche

I’ve always been a ford man when it came to trucks, but I have to say if I was going to buy a new one, it would be a Chevy. In my opinion it’s the best looking and driving truck on the market right now.

Let me set the record straight, the best truck in the world doesn’t exist. If it did this is what it would look like; 2011 Silverado hd cab, Cummins diesel, Allison Trans. End of story, period.

This is why FORD should stay in the KITCHEN and let the BIG BOYS a.k.a Chevy’s do the work!

this truck of the year shit is pathetic, it seems like they all win, i really am waiting for gm to come out with a new design, i think the 06 models were way better looking, they went for that big bulky front end look like ford, i had an 06 chevrolet one ton, i liked the look better than gmc, but they are both the same, i hope chevy goes more streamline than bulky look for there new trucks,

@goingdeepatv they did test the 400/800 against the silverado, and even with the 3 more lb ft that u brag about, the chevy still has stonger pull/acceleration, and the steel boxed frame on the chevy is another key to the truck being better, and it was tested in many ways by people hired b y gm each test was ran 24 times by different people to ensure its unbiased

I think it’s hilarious that half of the comments below me are lectures to other people. Nobody can get along on these videos!!! But I just don’t understand why this has so many dislikes. I know that 86+ people aren’t all Anit-American Japanese car-buying people, there’s Ford lovers and Dodge lovers that dislike any other American brand but their own. It’s childish people!!! I don’t like Ford as much as Chevy but I will still be happy with what they win because we’re all American and hoping……

@goingdeepatv I am just saying that possibly testing the highest trim level Fords against mid level chevy’s might disproportionately alter the prices.

@goingdeepatv I think this actually was right after Ford released the 400/800 program for the diesel engine. But if you look up in the actual magazine where they tested the trucks, despite the Chevy claiming higher payload capacities there is more weight put in the back of the Fords. Also notice how in the testing the GM 2500′s are both Ext. Cab models whereas the Ford is a crew cab. Do they not think that changes the weight a little bit. Notice how the trim levels don’t match up well either.
