COC Elite will air the 2009 Kings Cup fights on the October 22nd Champions of Champions Elite Show on G4. This is a distinct honor for COC Elite. The Kings cup is an annual event which honors Bhumibol Adulyadej’s birthday.                                                

Each year the King hand picks 8 of the top Muay Thai fighters from all over the world in a one day event. Eight fighters descend to Bangkok Thailand’s Sannam Luang park for one of the most prestigious events in all of Muay Thai. Selection to participate in the Kings Cup is an honor that Muay Thai fighters hope to experience just once in their lives. With the opportunity to be pitted against the best of the best in a grueling one day event that demands the fighter to vanquish three challenging foes in order to be crowned the Champion. The Champion is bestowed with the prestige of being presented with the Kings Cup Trophy and to have the Championship belt fitted around the waist. This is truly win or go home in all of its glory.

The eight fighters elected for 2009 include such international stars such as Brazil’s Cosmo Alexandre, Frances Cedric Mueller, and from Thailand, Naronpol Fairtex and Tum Mardsue.

The Kings Cup also known as the Super Eights draws over 300,000 enthusiastic Muay Thai fans to witness the amazing battles. The night also features top amateur and Female Professionals making this an event an opportunity to highlight not only established stars, but also the most promising fighters awaiting their turn to enter the professional ranks.

Making the Rounds with COC Elite Contest Goes Live

COC Elite goes live at Big Wangs Sports bar in downtown Los Angeles, California. The contest is COC Elites quest to find the “Best Bar In America”. Each month COC Elite website members vote for their favorite video clip that has been entered in the contest from bars all across America. The winning Bar will be the location of a live viewing Party during the COC Elite series, hosted by the Winner of the COC Elite/ GotCast Spokes Model search contest.

Big Wangs was selected as this month’s Bar of choice to showcase COC Elite. There will be contests and giveaways throughout the night. There will also be a special Muay Thai Demonstration presented by four times World Light Heavyweight Champion Clifton Brown and Reginald Ching.

The events kick off at 7pm at Big Wangs Sports bar. 801 Grand Ave Los Angeles, California.

COC Elite/GotCast Spokes Model Contest

COC Elite will announce the first winner of the COC Elite Spokes Model Contest during the September 24th showing of Champions of Champions Elite. Each month a winner will be selected to be the COC Elite Spokes Model and will be the Hostess at a live taping of the COC Elite show from the winning bar of the “The Making the Rounds with COC Elite” contest.
