However, when I do long distance driving, I touch the brakes and there’s this scunching sound, the car jerks a little, and the car just shuts off. It cranks right back up, though. I have a comprehensive insurance on a vehicle and have just bought a second vehicle which I would be insured for third party anyway as part of the comprehensive policy on my first vehicle. But DVLA (UK) insists on a vehicle specific insurance policy. Is this legally correct?
